London, Feb 1 : Contrary to a fast-spreading Internet rumour, actor Christian Slater is indeed alive and well.

The ‘True Romance’ star was forced to deny he had been killed in a freak snowboarding accident in Switzerland when the false rumours started doing the rounds, reports the Daily Mail.

London, Oct 16 : Hollywood actor Christian Slater has revealed on an American TV show how he got addicted to alcohol and ended up in a two year alcohol bender.

The ‘Igor’ actor revealed on ‘Inside The Actor’s Studio’ that he was driven to alcohol in 1997 after assaulting Michelle Jonas.

Washington, Apr 25: Christian Slater has signed on to star in the movie adaptation of Stephen King's short story ‘Dolan's Cadillac’.

Joining him in the film will be Wes Bentley and Emmanuelle Vaugier, who takes on the female lead.

The movie is a thriller about a man (Bentley), who plots to avenge the murder of his wife (Vaugier) by notorious and untouchable Las Vegas mob boss Jimmy Dolan (Slater).

For his role in ‘He Was A Quiet Man’, the 38-year-old had to don false teeth, an unflattering hairstyle and a moustache.

The movie features him as an office worker who inadvertently becomes a hero after saving a woman's life.

Slater insists that he was really very happy to give up his sense of style for playing his part in the movie.

London, Oct 21 : It seems that Hollywood star Christian Slater is playing down rumours of a romantic relationship with good pal Tamara Mellon.

The ‘Hollow Man’ star was spotted accompanying the founder of ‘Jimmy Choo’ shoes to the after-show party of his latest West End show, ‘Swimming With Sharks’.

However, when quizzed about any romance brewing between the two, the 38-year old actor completely denied it.

“I can’t say that there is a romance going on, no,” the Daily Express quoted him, as saying.
