New York, July 24 : Director Guillermo del Toro has revealed that he will take on Disney''s `The Haunted Mansion' as his next venture.

"Hellboy" director Del Toro also said that he will co-write and produce the film and may even direct it.

This is Disney''s second stab at the flick, which was inspired by its theme park ride.

New Delhi, Dec 27 - American writer of suspense Chuck Hogan says he is "drawn to stories of man at his extremes". He is now busy spooking readers with "The Strain", a book on vampires that he has co-authored with Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro.

For Hogan "crime and horror are both genres of existentialism".

Washington, Sept 26 : Director Guillermo del Toro has inked a publishing deal to pen a trilogy of vampire novels with crime author Chuck Hogan.

The 43-year-old, best known for making ‘Pans Labyrinth’, ‘Hellboy’ and ‘The Devil''s Backbone’, said that the trilogy would advance in "unexpected ways".

Washington, Apr 25 : Director Guillermo del Toro has signed on to helm ‘The Hobbit’, based on JRR Tolkien’s book of the same name.

The director will not only helming the movie, which centres on Bilbo Baggins taking the Ring of Power from Gollum, but also its planned sequel.
