New Delhi, Dec 25 : This Christmas was made special for Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan as his wife Jaya decorated a Christmas tree with gifts for the family and their friends.

"For the first time ever in my remembrance, Jaya brought in a Christmas tree in the house and decorated it with the finest trappings of all that goes to make it look inviting and attractive," Amitabh posted on his blog www. bigb. bigadda. com.

New Delhi, March 26 : Amitabh Bachchan may be respected the world over as the biggest Bollywood star but his actor-politician wife Jaya feels "Dilip Kumar was the last super star".

"I don't believe in super stars. Anyway, I think there are no super stars now. Dilip Kumar was the last," said Jaya during an interaction with women journalists here.

Jaya said among the current lot of Bollywood actors she has a special bond with Shah Rukh Khan.

London, March 2 : Jaya Bachchan will be honoured with a lifetime achievement award at the 12th London Asian Film Festival beginning Friday and son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai are set to attend the gala event.

Also known as Tongues on Fire, the festival will commence with a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) interview with Abhishek, celebrating his cinematic achievements, reports its official website.

Mumbai, Sept 10 : Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan said on Wednesday while apologizing for his wife Jaya Bachchan’s remarks that were deemed anti-Maharashtrian by some political parties that we are ready for any punishment if found guilty.

“I do not think we have said or done anything negative but we will leave it to the State,” he said in a news conference in Mumbai today.

New Delhi/Nasik, Sept 9: Jaya Bachchan has reportedly apologized for
her alleged "anti-Marathi" remarks at a recent film function in Mumbai,
saying that she didn’t intend to hurt the people of Maharashtra.

According to reports, Jaya has said in an interview to a newspaper that
she was sorry if she has hurt the people of Maharashtra. She, however,
