New Delhi [India], Sept. 26 : After Deepika Padukone, Bollywood's one of the most talked-about person Karan Johar spoke up about the years of clinical depression he went through.
In a recent interview with Barkha Dutt for NDTV, the 44-year-old filmmaker revealed about the issues he went through until quite recently.
Mumbai: The fifth edition of filmmaker Karan Johar's popular chat show "Koffee With Karan" is set to be back, and channel officials are pulling out all stops to ensure it's a "cracker" of a season packed with surprises.
While Karan had previously announced on social media that he will be back on small screen as a host of a new season of the show, he had also asked his fans to wait before playing the guessing game on the line-up.

The recently released soul-stirring track 'Bulleya' has made it huge by garnering 12 million views in not even a week.
Karan Johar took to his Twitter handle to share his happiness and posted a collage of two snaps from the flick, which read, "Bulleya winning hearts across the World. 12 Million views."
"Double the love!!! Thank you for all the love!!!! #BULLEYA #AeDilHaiMushkil #12million," he wrote along side.

New Delhi, Aug. 18 : Karan Johar, who has highlighted homosexuality through his movies and interviews, feels getting its acceptance in real life is a long way to go.
"Acceptance is still a long way but at least we're aware. That's the first stage. There was once a point when we weren't even aware," said the filmmaker in his recent interview with Filmfare.
Further speaking about the risk proposition for theme of homosexuality in his recent flick 'Kapoor and Sons,' the Dharma Productions head honcho said that there were odds which they fought out.
New Delhi, Aug. 17 : Karan Johar feels his best buddy Shah Rukh Khan has the most intelligent mind "in the business."
"I think he is one of a kind. He's a superstar, entrepreneur and he is also a visionary. He's the most intelligent mind I know in the business," the filmmaker told Filmfare recently while speaking about the three men he loves the most.
The other two people he spoke about while replying to the question were Amitabh Bachchan and Aditya Chopra.
While speaking about Big-B he said that the latter is the "youngest man" even in the age of 74.
New Delhi, Aug. 11 : Karan Johar is celebrating a decade of his third directorial venture 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' today, which explored the themes of adultery and extramarital affairs.
The 44-year-old actor took to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts about the "most special film" of his career.
"#10YearsOfKANK the most special film of my career...a film that found love in retrospect and in abundance..." he tweeted.
Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar says his eyes welled up when actor-friend Shah Rukh Khan praised the music of "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" as the superstar's opinion matters to him the most.
"It is very kind of Shah Rukh Khan to say that. I am excited about it (film and music). Shah Rukh's opinion matters to me the most. I was moved to tears when he said that," Karan told PTI when asked about SRK praising the music of his upcoming film.
There were reports that SRK saw the trailer of Karan's film and was unhappy with it (trailer) and has asked him (Karan) to make some alterations.
Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar is elated to be back as a judge on "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" but says he is missing his actress friend Madhuri Dixit, who had joined him last season on the panel.
"I hope people are not bored seeing me. I love Madhuri Dixit (one of the judges earlier) and I miss her. I have always looked up to Madhuri as a movie star and a great actress. I grew to love her as a friend. We had developed a strong relationship," Karan told PTI.

New Delhi, July 17 : It's almost a wrap up for upcoming film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', as Karan Johar has kicked off the last leg of the movie, which is being shot in Mumbai.
Karan, 44, posted a picture from the set and tweeted, "Back on set for the last leg of #AeDilHaiMushkil in mumbai....."
In the snap, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma are seen shooting a sequence in the lift.
Karan Johar's directorial, which also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Fawad Khan and Lisa Haydon, has been shot in Paris and Vienna.
The movie is slated to hit theatres on October 28. (ANI)

In his latest article for NDTV, the 44-year-old filmmaker said that he is "going through AOMO - the acceptance of missing out."

"We are always researching; when we make movies it's all about research - emotional research, historical research, sometimes just modality research. I think that there is no filmmaker who can function without the functions of Google," Karan said while hosting a show to announce Google's new search experiences for the Indian film industry.
