Courtney Love eyes Armando Iannucci for Kurt Cobain biopic

Love revealed her preference for the film provisionally titled Heavier Than Heaven.
"You know who I''m into? The Thick of It guy, Armando Iannucci. This is a big A-list movie. This is when someone goes and gets an Oscar for it," the Independent quoted her as telling Clash music magazine.
The movie apparently has Eric Fellner as producer and Wolverine writer David Benioff for the screenplay. (ANI)

New York, Aug 20 : Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain really ‘detested’ Guns N'' Roses frontman Axl Rose, according to record business eminence Danny Goldberg.
In his memoir, ‘Bumping Into Geniuses’, Goldberg has revealed that when Rose asked to meet Cobain backstage after a show, Kurt refused.

London, June 1 : Ashes of rock god Kurt Cobain have been stolen from the Hollywood home of his widow Courtney Love, it has emerged.
Sources say that Love is "suicidal" after finding Kurt's remains missing from her house.
She had kept the singer's ashes in a pink teddy-bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair.
Converse launches Kurt Cobain shoe line

Washington, March 18: A series of shoes bearing late grunge rocker Kurt Cobain's autobgraphs is being launched by footwear manufacturer Converse.
The shoes will also feature select drawings and writings first published in 2002's Journals scrawled on them.
The 'Nirvana' frontman was wearing a pair of black Converse One Tops shoes when he shot himself dead in April 1994 at his home in Seattle, Washington.

American rock musician Courtney Love wants actor Ryan Gosling to play her late husband Kurt Cobain in an “explosive” new movie about his life.
The movie, named Heavier Than Heaven, which is based on Charles Cross' biography of the Nirvana frontman’s life, is said to cost 60 million dollars.
Universal bags rights to Kurt Cobain biopic

Washington, Oct 19 : Universal Pictures will be bringing a biopic of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain to the big screen after snapping up the rights to a biography of the rocker penned by Charles Cross.
Universal has acquired rights to “Heavier Than Heaven,” and has already roped in David Benioff to pen the script of the as-yet untitled drama.
Courtney Love is on board as executive producer along with her lawyer Howard Weitzman, reports Variety.
