Washington, August 10 : Singer and songwriter Lenny Kravitz has revealed that many of the tracks on his new album `Black and White America' came to him as dreams.

The rocker says he loves the feeling of waking up fresh with inspiration.

Asks how it feels to wake up with a song he has dreamed, he said: "It feels almost euphoric. The songs come fully formed," reports Contact music.

London, July 25 - American singer Lenny Kravitz is very close to his daughter Zoe and says she is his best friend.

Zoe, 22 is the child of Kravitz with ex-wife Lisa Bonet.

"I'm old-school about the father-daughter thing, but she's also my best friend. She grew up with me. I didn't hide a lot. She learned by listening and observing what I was doing," contactmusic. com quoted the 47-year-old as saying.

London, Jan 6 : A previously unreleased Michael Jackson track leaked on to the internet is genuine, Lenny Kravitz has confirmed, adding that he had no idea how the song got there.

Kravitz posted a video of himself saying the track was 90 seconds of unmixed material he wrote, produced and recorded with Jackson before his death.

However, the American Woman singer said he had no knowledge of the DJ introduction to the beginning of the unfinished track, called Another Day.

London, December 9 : Singer Lenny Kravitz has trashed rumours that he is set to step into the shoes of Steven Tyler and front Aerosmith.

The 45-year-old rocker revealed that he was "flattered" to be considered as the choice to take over from Tyler, who left the legendary band earlier this year.

But the ‘Stillness of Heart’ hitmaker insisted on his Twitter page he could never replace Tyler.
