London, Jan 19 : Mark Wahlberg has apologised for his comment that he would have carried out a Hollywood-style rescue aboard one of the hijacked September 11 aircraft.
‘The Departed’ star was scheduled to take United Airlines flight 93, which crashed in a Pennsylvania field as passengers fought to overpower four al-Qaeda hijackers who intended to use the plane to attack Washington DC.

London, Jan 15 - Actor Mark Wahlberg is all set to adapt the TV series "Entourage" into a film and says it will be "90 minutes of craziness".
"That's definitely something that we're actively trying to put together. We're just waiting for series creator Doug Ellin to write the script," femalefirst. co. uk quoted Wahlberg as saying.
Wahlberg feels "Entourage" will work better on the big screen as the TV episodes were too short.

London, July 30 : Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg was stopped by police for allegedly running a stop sign as he was driving through Los Angeles.
The "Planet of the Apes" star's luxury Bentley car was pulled over by a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer on suspicion of the motoring offence, reports imdb. com.
Wahlberg was reportedly on his way to church when he was stopped.
It is not known whether the actor was handed a traffic ticket for the alleged violation. (IANS)

Washington, Oct 11 : Actor Mark Wahlberg has revealed that his role of a tough cop in ‘The Departed’ was based on his mum.
The actor, who earned an Oscar nomination for his role in the 2006 flick, asserted that he used his tough-talking, no-nonsense mother for the basis of his role of Sean Dignam.
"It's loosely based on my mother... She's crazy, man, and she likes to put me in my place,” Contactmusic quoted Wahlberg, as saying.
