London, April 7 - Actress Meg Ryan is set to don the director's hat for new movie "Into The Beautiful".
The film focuses on a reunion between old friends. Meg, however, has no plans to take on a role herself.
Producer Wendy Finerman and Meg are currently casting the project and hope to begin shooting in New York this September, reports contactmusic. com.

London, May 15 : Hollywood star Meg Ryan has allowed cameras to enter her new house on Martha''s Vineyard in Cape Cod.
The actress is said to have spent a lot of time decorating it with the help of Marsha Russell of Satinwood, a Bedford, New York, interior design firm.
She let cameras to peep inside her new house as she feels she’s been ''renovating houses'' her whole life, reports the Daily Express.

Melbourne, December 30 : Meg Ryan has sparked health concerns after pictures showing the actress’ skinny frame were published.
The 48-year-old actress was seen looking frail and emaciated in the snaps published by The Sun.
The French Kiss star was spotted wearing a purple full-piece swimsuit, black and white sarong, hat and sunglasses on a beach in Hawaii, reports the Daily Telegraph.
She was said to have lost her curves that once won her millions of male fans. (ANI)

London, Sept 24 : American actress Meg Ryan has revealed how she had hurt Aussie actor Russell Crowe when she walked away from him.
Ryan, 46, who had been married to actor Dennis Quaid, revealed that she had not been ready for a serious relationship with Crowe after she found out that her then hubby was having an affair.
“I was a mess - I hurt him (Crowe) too at the end,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying about the relationship.
