Shabana Azmi to get her 4th doctorateMumbai, June 11 - Shabana Azmi is the most academically qualified actress in India by far and now the veteran actress is all set to receive another doctorate, this time from the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver Wednesday.

This would be the "Masoom" actress's fourth honorary degree. Earlier, she has received the same honour from Leeds University in Britain, the Jamia Millia Islamia and the Jadavpur University.

She was missing the late Mona Kapoor, ex-wife of Bollywood filmmaker Boney Kapoor. Mona died earlier this year after battling multiple organ cancer for about five months.

"So early in the morning and so many birthday wishes already... Thank you all from the bottom of my heart," Shabana tweeted.

Bollywood stars to walk for Shabana's MijwanMumbai, Aug 23 - Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Karan Johar and Imran Khan will lend support to Shabana Azmi's Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS) by wearing clothes made by the NGO's girls at an upcoming fashion event.

MWS works for the empowerment of the girl child in rural India, and will hold the Mijwan Sonnets In Fabric for the third consecutive year. It will be held at the Grand Hyatt here Sep 3.
