Washington, Oct 18 : Reese Witherspoon, made her first official appearance in a breast cancer charity walk in New York on Sunday, since she was hit by a car while out on jogging last month.

The 35-year-old blond beauty's forehead injuries were still visible as she spoke at the `Global Breast Cancer Congress', reports Contactmusic.

Witherspoon, during her speech, announced the `Avon Global Breast Cancer Clinical Scholars Program', which will fund training for specialists from outside America.

Post her speech, Witherspoon joined the 39.3-mile two-day Avon Walk, which raised more than 8.4 million dollars for the charity over the weekend. (ANI)
