London, Jan 17 : British comedian Ricky Gervais is set to make a cameo appearance in US version of ‘The Office’, it has emerged.

Gervais played the role of cringeworthy manager David Brent in the BBC cult series.

The show was then transferred to the US, with Steve Carell playing the role of the self-centred paper factory boss, Michael Scott, reports the Telegraph.

However, according to the Independent, Gervais is now rumoured to make a guest appearance on the NBC show.

Gervais’s publicist said although the appearance had not been confirmed Gervais had not "ruled out the opportunity". (ANI)
