Rihanna made cultural ambassador to Barbados

Washington, Feb 24: R&B singer Rihanna has been named Barbados' youth and cultural ambassador.
The island's Prime Minister David Thompson bestowed the 20-year-old star with the honorary award at a rally held on 21st Feb.
The ‘Umbrella’ singer will also be rewarded by the Barbadian government for her cultural efforts, reports Contactmusic.
She will soon be given a plot of land in the exclusive Apes Hill area of St James parish as a gratification by the govt.
Recently, the pop star was also given the sexiest female musician title by lingerie company Victoria's Secret. (ANI)
