London, Dec 23 : Scarlett Johansson failed to win Hugh Jackman's T-shirt at an auction held after the actor's Broadway performance.

The `X-Men' star is currently performing his one-man musical in New York and he has been staging regular post-show auctions to raise money for charity.

The 27-year-old actress was in the audience on Tuesday, along with fellow Hollywood star Uma Thurman, and she joined in the bidding when Jackman offered up his T-shirt, the Daily Express reported.

According to the New York Post, Johansson climbed onstage with the actor and put down 1,875 pounds in a bid to claim the garment, but she lost it to one fan who bid 18,750 pounds for the shirt. (ANI
