Sheen hearing postponed after wife undergoes surgery

London, Jan 20 : Actor Charlie Sheen and his wife’s hearing about a court order preventing them from contacting one another has had to be postponed after the latter underwent surgery.

The hearing, which was to determine whether the court order needed modification, has been postponed till January 22, reports the Daily Express.

Brooke Mueller had undergone surgery for a mouth infection, and her lawyer, Yale Galanter, asked the court in Aspen, Colorado, to allow her to participate in the planned hearing by telephone as she could not make an appearance.

But Pitkin County District Court Judge James Boyd denied the motion, and instead rescheduled the hearing.

Both Sheen and his wife are expected to ask the judge to throw out or revise a protection order that prevents the couple from contacting each other, but prosecutors have opposed the request. (ANI)
