London, Oct 11 : The volume at Sir Paul McCartney's wedding reception party had to be turned down after a complaint from neighbours in north-west London.
The ex-Beatles bassist had to keep it low after neighbours complained to authorities that the music was getting too loud, in the middle of the night.
Westminster Council said that its officers dealt with a complaint about noise in St John's Wood at 01:30 BST, which happened to be from the rock legend's wedding party.
"The volume was reduced on request," the BBC quoted the council's head of noise and licensing, Andrew Ralph as saying.
"No further action is being taken," he added.
Sir Paul McCartney tied the knot for the third time with Nancy Shevell at Marylebone Old Town Hall.
Those who attended the party included Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, model Twiggy and artist Sam Taylor-Wood. (ANI)
