Stephen Fry to play lead role in ‘Hobbit’ movies

London, May 20 : It has been confirmed that Stephen Fry would play the lead role in the two-part film adaptation of `The Hobbit'.
"We are thrilled to confirm that Stephen Fry will be playing the Master of Lake town. He''s a terrific actor," The Sun quoted director Peter Jackson as saying.
The QI host, an old pal of Jackson, will play the greedy Master of Laketown in the movies.
The `Lord of the Rings' prequels are being filmed in New Zealand. (ANI)
