Steven Spielberg ‘tortured’ by filmmaking

Steven Spielberg ‘tortured’ by filmmakingWashington, Jan 10 : Steven Spielberg has revealed that he thinks the process of moviemaking can be torturous.

The Oscar-winning filmmaker, however, believes that no filmmaker can avoid it and it is the same even in the past and in the present.

“Hollywood might look like Wall Street if you read the papers. It’s not like that when you are in Hollywood making movies. The creative process is just as stimulating and just as sharing. It’s a very collaborative process,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling BANG Showbiz.

“I know it might seem that way because so much ink is spilled and media is obsessed with business and numbers and studios and that sort of thing but filmmakers don’t feel that way.

“The torture we endure is the same torture our forefathers endured in the Golden Era in Hollywood. From my perspective it’s no different than I’m sure it was for the men and women I admire so much who made the earliest movies,” he added. (ANI)
