Washington, Dec13: American actress Whoopi Goldberg seems to have devised a special technique to silence noisy children by threatening to ‘cook’ them.

The ‘Ghost’ star is not quite pleased with young kids running around her screaming loudly.

The 52-year-grandmother thus claimed that children prefer to stay away from her as she gives them a chilling warning.

"Kids don't scream around me - because I say bad stuff to them, ” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying jokingly.

She added: "I reach over and I say, 'I'm going to cook you. ' And then they stop making noise. " (ANI)
