William Shatner says he’s disappointed at not attending George Takei''''s wedding

William ShatnerLondon, Oct 24 : After calling co-actor George Takei a "psychotic" and "sick" person in his bitter YouTube video, former ‘Star Trek’ star William Shatner is disappointed that he did not get to attend Takei’s wedding.

Takei married partner Brad Altman on September 14.

“I’m deeply disappointed that I didn’t share in George’s newfound happiness. But I am expecting a call from J. J. Abrams to tell me about the wedding," Fox News quoted Shatner as saying.

In his mud-slinging video, Shatner accused Takei of not inviting him to his wedding because of a long-standing grudge that Takei, who played Mr. Sulu, holds toward him.

On the other hand, Takei, who had earlier said that he invited George to the wedding, still maintains his stand saying: "It is unfortunate that Bill was unable to join us for our wedding as he indeed was invited to attend.

"It is our hope that at this point he joins us in voting no on Proposition 8, which seeks to eliminate the fundamental right for same-sex couples to marry in California." (ANI)
