Mumbai, Feb. 9 : The Bombay High Court on Thursday ordered that land given to film director Subhash Ghai''s Mukta Arts in 2006 be taken back.

The court also asked Ghai to pay Rs 5.3 crore annually from 2000, from the time Mukta Arts entered into a joint venture with the Maharashtra Government headed by then chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.

Kolkata, Feb 9 - Bollywood actor Rahul Bose Thursday said he is all set to make an English movie which will be a screen adaptation of a Pakistani novel.

"I will be making an English movie based on a Pakistani novel. So I won't be available for any other movies during that period of August, September and October," said Bose on the sidelines of a programme here.

The exhibition, titled Absolut Soni, will take place at the Aman hotel in the capital and it will be on for three weeks - from Feb 11 to Feb 29. It is collaboration between Absolut and Aman.

Mumbai, Feb 9 - Bollywood director Subhash Ghai will challenge in the Supreme Court the Bombay High Court order Thursday asking him to return a plot of land allotted to his Whistling Woods International film institute.

"We respect the high court's judgement and we will appeal to the Supreme Court. We are not at fault and have done nothing wrong," Ghai told IANS.

Mumbai, Feb 9 - The Bombay High Court Thursday directed filmmaker Subhash Ghai to return a plot of land allotted to his Whistling Woods International film institute.

Ghai is running the institute at Goregaon in northwest Mumbai. The studio and the institute were built on 5.5 acres of land and Ghai was allotted an additional 14.5 acres of surrounding land for expansion in 2000 by then chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.
