Mumbai, Feb 11 - Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, scheduled to undergo abdominal surgery here Saturday, was happy and cheerful before being wheeled into the operation theatre in the morning, doctors attending on him said.

Mumbai, Feb 10 - Bollywood actress Esha Deol is set to exchange rings with her long-time boyfriend Mumbai-based businessman Bharat Takhtani Sunday, two days before Valentine's Day.

"Yes, it is going to be a traditional ceremony at their Juhu residence Sunday. It will be a family affair," Esha's manager confirmed to IANS.

The time of engagement is yet to be revealed, but the family is said to be excited.

Mumbai, Feb 7 - Actor Prateik is unperturbed by the controversy surrounding the song "Hosanna" from his ready-to-release movie "Ek Deewana Tha" and says one should not pay much attention to such things.

"Sometimes it is beneficial to you and sometimes it is not. So, you should not pay too much attention to controversies. You should just focus on working hard on your film and your character. Leave the rest to god," he said at an event.

The five-day fashion event will start March 2 here and will see unique collections of 83 designers this year. Bal says that the unique collections are the star of the fashion show and not the celebrities.

Mumbai, Feb 6 - Actor Sonu Sood, who became popular as Chhedi Singh in the blockbuster "Dabangg", won't mind playing a boxer on the big screen but in real life he would like to stay away from the boxing ring.

"If you are an actor, than it is not very safe to do boxing. We do it in films, but that is definitely not real action. If the actors get injured, the producers face a lot of loss," Sonu said at a World Series of Boxing match here.

Mumbai, Feb 6 - After the stupendous success of "Agneepath", expectations are high for Karan Johar's next production venture "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu", but actor Imran Khan isn't nervous about it.

"No, the success and failure of another film doesn't affect our film in anyway. If somebody's film does well, it doesn't hurt us. If somebody's film fails, it doesn't help us," Imran said at an event here.

Anil Mohile passed away Feb 1. In his long career, he arranged music for 85 films, including Amitabh Bachchan starrers "Sharaabi" and "Don".
