Moscow, June 2 - Hollywood action movie star Steven Seagal has pledged to dedicate his life to fight terrorism.

Seagal visited a ruined school in Beslan in Russia's North Ossetia, the scene of a bloody hostage crisis in 2004.

The movie star and martial artist along with a group of US Congressmen arrived in Beslan June 1, the International Children's Day celebrated in Russia.

Moscow, May 21 : French actor Gerard Depardieu, a Russian citizen since early this year, is soon to open a restaurant in the city where he now resides, authorities said Monday.

"Depardieu told us that he will soon open a restaurant that aims to attract creative, enterprising people," Valeri Maresiev, information minister for the Russian Republic of Mordovia, told the Interfax news agency.

Moscow, May 17 : Former adult video star Sasha Grey has begun her car rally across Russia, driving the same model of car as Russian President Vladimir Putin did on a similar journey.

Setting off from the eastern city of Vladivostok, Grey is driving the Lada Kalina model sedan as Putin, who took a Kalina on a 350-km drive starting from Vladivostok in 2010.
