'Happy Bhaag Jaaygi' yet to get green light for its Pak-release

Karachi, Aug. 19 : 'Happy Bhaag Jaaygi,' after getting a good hype and nice promotions in Pakistan, will not be released there today.

While the film has not yet been slapped with an official ban, the ball is longer in the court of provincial censor boards, reports the Express Tribune.

The Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) of Pakistan could not reach a unanimous decision over the fate of the film due to technical differences between the board members.

To sort it out, as per the regular proceedings of the board, a full-board was called to review the film.

Karachi, Aug. 18 : Global icon Priyanka Chopra recently revealed that if given a chance, she would love to try her hand in Urdu language.

In a recent question and answer session on Twitter, when asked, if she could speak another language what would it be? The former Miss World promptly replied, "Urdu", reports The Express Tribune.

"If there was another language I could speak, it would be Urdu and French. Love them," said the 'Quantico' star.

Further in the interaction, she revealed that best thing she likes about acting is that it gives a liberty of being "anybody."

Karachi, Aug. 11 : 'Rustom' and 'Mohenjo Daro,' releasing this Friday, has recently received Universal ratings by Pakistani censor board.

In regard to director Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama, Pakistan CBFC chairman Mobashir Hasan said, "There is only some minor cutting of some kissing scenes. Apart from that, it was good to go," reports the Express Tribune.

Hasan also explained that when it comes to historical epics, the board has a provision to bring in co-opt members, apart from the usual five-member panel.

Under the hashtag #PTIvsDoraemon, the twitterers targeted the announcement in an attempt to figure out what PTI has against anime, reports the Express Tribune.

"#PTIvsDoraemon is doraemon using any gadget against Imran khan ?" wrote one.

"PTI wants Doremon banned? I thought Imran Ismail is one of their own." said another.
