Lindsay Lohan: No More A Part Of Matthew Wilder’s ‘Inferno’

Lindsay LohanTrouble follows Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan everywhere. After accusations of alcohol and drug abuse and a rehabilitation stint, it seems like directors are no more interested in the ‘Mean Girls’ star. According to reports, Lindsay Lohan will no longer play the role of Linda Lovelace in a biopic of the 1970s porn star to be shot by American musician Matthew Wilder.

Wilder was supposed to begin work on ‘Inferno’, his celluloid representation of the life of porn star Linda Lovelace this month. Lindsay Lohan was selected to play the lead three months back. However, with the unavailability of LiLo following an extension of her stay at the rehabilitation center where she is presently putting up, Matthew Wilder has decided to start filming ‘Inferno’ without the actress. Speaking to the media, Matthew Wilder said that the crew of ‘Inferno’ could not wait longer for LiLo and though he would have loved to work with Lindsay Lohan in ‘Inferno’ he is bound by other constraints.

The actress, on the other hand, is presently housed at the Betty Ford rehabilitation center in California. Though the media were not given permission to speak to Lindsay Lohan, a representative of the actress issued a statement saying that she was aware of the decision taken by Matthew Wilder. In fact, it was after talks with the actress that the ‘Inferno’ crew decided to go forward without LiLo. The actress’ replacement for Linda Lovelace has not been announced yet.
