Rajasthan BJP MLAs have insisted rebellious Vasundhara Raje to hold her position as opposition leader in assembly.

In a meeting on Monday, Raje’s supporters have made a decision to keep her at the post till next assembly elections.

However, the final decision has been left on her.

BJP’s highest decision-making body, the parliamentary board, on Sunday, decided that Vasundhara Raje should now resign as the leader of opposition in assembly.

But the board has not specified any deadline for the resignation of the rebellious leader.

On the decision, Raje said that she would accord the judgement by BJP’s parliamentary board. She also added that she had never made any ill comments against BJP or its leaders.

Rajnath Singh, president BJP had admitted that party would not pressurize her for immediate resignation.

Infact she would be allowed to quit honorably as no timeframe had been imposed on her. But she must take responsibility of BJPs’ bad performance in previous assembly elections.
