Hong Kong - A 92-year-old man who went missing for three days in Hong Kong was found wandering on a remote hillside, police said Thursday.

The man disappeared Sunday after a trip to the countryside in Hong Kong's New Territories to visit the graves of his relatives. He said he survived by drinking water from streams and had slept rough on the hillside.

He was found safe but hungry and exhausted by police after a hiker heard him calling for help Wednesday.

Contrary to many people's assumptions, Hong Kong is not all high-rise developments and urban areas, and more than 70 per cent of its 1,078 square kilometres is countryside, much of which is densely foliated and mountainous.
