The country's largest automaker Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is planning to launch the new WagonR for the Indian consumer on the 23rd of April in the Capital. Notably, the new WagonR is expected to be much more than just a facelift of the older version.

The new product that will be out on sale on the April 23rd is much taller, wider and longer than before and sports new suspension at both the front and the rear. The new WagonR is based on the new platform that it currently in operation in the developed market by its parent company, Suzuki Motor Corporation.

With the launch of the new WagonR the company will be pulling off its duo version that supports LPG and petrol mode. For the uninitiated, the company sold more than 8 lakh units of the WagonR since its launch 1999 in the Indian market.

The tall-boyish product has been one of the best products for the auto major in the Indian market along with products like Alto, Swift et al. The company has invested almost Rs. 290 crore in the development of the new product.
