Microsoft taking strict steps to prevent hackingThe software giant Microsoft, on Thursday announced that it had taken a strict step towards the increasing risk on cyber security and preventing the hackers from being so active. It had prepared a comprehensive plan of combining technology with legal steps to break the neck of the massive hackers that have been flooding the internet with their spam.

Hundreds of thousand machines in the World have been affected by the Waldec virus, and now this software giant has got approval from the US judge and now its Digital Crime unit will be fighting the cyber criminals and will be able to sever their systems.

Microsoft drafted a case in the court regarding repeated cyber attacks and wanted to do something about it, especially after the Symantec survey reported the amount of attacks to steal trade secrets.

Earlier this year Google had been attacked several times and the recent attacks were traced down to military schools in China. Meanwhile, Microsoft's legal and technological combination might well be a saving grace for billions of internet users worldwide.
