MJP Activists Stop ‘Tum Mile’ Screening In Rajkot

MJP Activists Stop ‘Tum Mile’ Screening In RajkotActivists of the Maha Gujarat Janta Party, headed by former Gujarat Home Minister Godhan Zadafia, barged into a cinema hall, Cosmoplex, in Rajkot and stopped the screening of Mahesh Bhatt’s latest flick ‘Tum Mile’.

The MJP also called for a statewide forbiddance on the movie.

They were showing strong scuffle against Rahul Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt’s son, for his alleged relations with David Coleman Headley, who is in FBI custody after his detention for allegedly scheming terrorist attacks in the country at the order of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT).

But, the cinema hall, resumed the film screening after some time.

Mr. Ajay Vagdia, Cosmoplex’s owner, stated that about 50 people entered the hall and created a ruckus.

Though the trouble lasted for a short time, the protestors were driven out by the security officers and the show re-started, he said.

The Maha Gujarat Janta Party has warned of same action against other Surat movie halls showing the film starring Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan.

The sources said the MJP workers are making plans to place a ban on the film in Ahmedabad from Tuesday.
