The Most Watched Clips on YouTube in Britain this year

London, Dec 21 : Basshunter''s video featuring Aylar Lie stripping off with two pals was the Most Watched Clip on YouTube in Britain this year.

The 23-year-old Norwegian model, who plays the central character in the music video, was the Internet sensation of 2008.

Britain''s Got Talent''s top moments came second while the chart included an incredible three entries from R&B star Chris Brown.

"R&B videos are massive on both sides of the Atlantic - they got the babes, the beats and tons of bling," News of the World quoted an industry insider, as saying.

1. Basshunter''s ''Now You''re Gone'' - The music video expands on the song''s theme of a young man and a woman ending their relationship, depicting the couple breaking up over SMS text messages.

2. Britains Got Talent - Winner George Sampson''s flashy body-popping wowed millions of telly viewers on the ITV show - but got an even bigger audience online.

3 . Low - The Streets came up with this tune for hip-hop movie ''Step Up 2'' - but it was funky moves and dirty dancing that paved the way for it''s entry into the top ten.

4. Lil Wayne - After his hit debut album Tha Block Is Hot and two more albums released with little promotion, Lil Wayne reached higher popularity with 2004''s Tha Carter and its two subsequent albums Tha Carter II (2005) and Tha Carter III (2008).

5. Chris Brown - The R&B star grabbed loads of music awards across the pond this year and now is proving a massive hit on the web.

6. Chris Brown''s ''Forever'' - Forever is a song by American R&B singer Chris Brown. Produced by Polow da Don, it is the first single from the repackaged Exclusive: Forever Edition, and is the fifth overall single by Brown from his second studio album Exclusive with backing uncredited vocals from Keri Hilson.

7. Usher - The American rapper has sold more than 35 million albums, won five Grammys and made Billboard''s All time Hot 100 Artist list - so we reckon he''ll be chuffed with this latest achievement.

8. Chris Brown''s ''With You'' - The music video has been viewed more than 77 million times on the popular video website YouTube as of November 20, 2008, and was the site''s 3rd most viewed video of the all categories, and as well as the 2nd most viewed video in music categories.

9. Ne-Yo - Another American pop singer who is making it massive online in the UK - Ne-You''s profile here was raised when he performed US anthem the Star-Spangled Banner at the first NFL game at Wembley Stadium in March.

10. Pink''s ''So What'' - The blonde singer gets a tattoo, jams a six-lane highway with a lawn mower, goes crazy with a chainsaw and causes chaos in a guitar shop - and that was before this song leaked onto the internet before its release date. (ANI)
