Mammootty is back again with his next film ‘Pazhassi Raja’. The film is slated to release on October 16.

The much-awaited film will be released in five languages.

The mega budget film is based on the warrior prince ‘Pazhassi Raja’, who fought the British forces valiantly in the early years of 19th century.

Directed by Hariharan, the film will hit 125 theatres across Kerala.

‘Pazhassi Raja’ will be the biggest film release in the history of Malayalam cinema.

Apart from Mammootty, the film also stars Sarath Kumar, Kaniha, Padmapriya and Manoj K Jayan.

It may be recalled that the film was scheduled for release on October 2, but was delayed as the filmmakers wanted to hike the ticket prices for the first week of its release.
