Australian pop star Kylie Minogue lunches with Akshay Kumar and gears up to groove to Farah Khan's dance moves, finds Soumyadipta Banerjee

As we go to press, Australian pin-up and pop star Kylie Minogue is digging into a sumptuous Thai and seafood spread with Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna at their Juhu residence. After that, Kylie is supposed to retire for an afternoon siesta at the presidential suite of the Renaissance hotel where she has been lodged.

The security of the singer is being personally looked after by TV star Ronit Roy, who is also doubling up as her bodyguard whenever she might have a chance brush with the public.

The star arrived on Wednesday midnight by Jet Airways from London via Singapore. She was beaming as she did the typical 'namaste' and waved at the crowd. Ronit's security guards prevented a mini stampede that ensued when the singer came out of the terminal.

For the next couple of days, Kylie will be rehearsing with choreographer Farah Khan for the AR Rahman number that she has sung for Blue. She will start shooting for the song with Akshay Kumar on either Sunday or Monday. The shooting has been scheduled at Film City, though it might be changed or another location added in.

Kylie will also go on a secret tour of Mumbai after the grueling shooting schedule which has not yet been planned due to security concerns. "The singer is beaming and she is completely chilled out. She is thoroughly enjoying Akshay's company who is playing host to the diva," says a source.
