Police claimed to have solved a case of theft, which happened on October 8 at Kareena Kapoor's Rose Queen residence on 14th road in suburban Khar.
The Mumbai police arrested Bebo’s three house servants named as Pawansingh Chouhan (24), Anita Osami (35) and Tina Yadav (26) on October 15, who have confessed to the criminal offense.
The police recovered a pearl set and a ring worth Rs 41,000 and Rs 1.53 lakh in cash, from them.
The police officials said that the trio had stolen cash and other things worth Rs 2.50 lakh. They were sent to police custody till Monday.
As per police officials, Kareena's secretary Zahid Akram Khan, on October 8, kept Rs 2.14 lakh at Babita’s (Kareena Kapoor's mother) room when she was not there and informed her about it.
Mr. N Sonavane, police officer of Khar police station stated, “When Babita returned home, she could not find the cash, following which she spoke to Khan in this regard.”
"They searched the entire house and also asked their 10 servants. During the search, she also came to know a pearl set and a ring were also missing along with cash," Mr. Sonavane added.
