Ace Bollywood actress-director Nandita Das has stolen all the limelight with her simple lecture at the International Film Festival (IFFI) at Goa.

Shinning bright after the triumph of her debut directorial venture 'Firaaq', an elated Nandita said, "A movie has to reflect the culture of the land."

'Firaaq' deals with the impact of aggression on human mind and kinships.

The movie has received acclaim and awards in national as well as international film festivals.

"I screened my movie in various film festivals. It was appreciated everywhere. There is no need for Indian filmmakers to change their style to please foreign audiences," Rao said.

The critically acclaimed actress stressed that a good work should be enthralling and talent knows no language barriers.

Produced under the PPC (Percept Picture Company) banner, Firaaq is an Indian movie exhibiting sectarian anger as an experience of general public after communal riots in Gujarat in the year 2002.
