Nano selling in black

Ratan-TataAfter Ratan Tata made his dream of launching a car priced at Rs. One lakh true in 2009 when it officially gave the keys of its first owner, the small wonder from the Tata Motors stable was believed to create magic in the Indian automobile industry.

However, the fact that it still hasn't reached a state of high volumes, the road has still many miles left for Nano to cover.

But the shortage is a boon for many who are selling the product at a premium rate working at a dealership of the company. According to person working at a Tata Motors dealership, they charge close to Rs. 15,000 as a premium from the consumer who needs quick delivery and hence delivers the car that was cancelled as a booking by the other consumer.

Though, the company officials and several dealers have said that there is no such process under progress but it is believed that such practices are taking place at the ground level.

In fact, the car has already made a lot of bad news after it caught fire at an incident that happened in March this year that was followed by one more such incident wherein Tata Motors still hasn't been able to give a detailed reason against it.
