Patna, May 10 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday talked of possible National Democratic Alliance''s (NDA) coalition with regional parties to form the government at the Centre.

"The NDA will come up as the biggest alliance after the polls because of which a lot of parties will be attracted to us. There can be a possibility that the NDA might not get the majority and may require other allies to form the government. But there can be another possibility that the NDA may get the majority. So, we should wait for May 16," said Kumar before leaving for an election rally in Ludhiana.

He also put an end to speculation about aligning with the UPA and affirmed that none of the Left parties are in contact with him to form an alliance without the BJP.

The election rally, which Kumar is attending, is co-hosted by Bharatiya Janata Party''s (BJP) alliance partner in Punjab, the Akali Dal, in a bid to prove that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is intact.

BJP''s top brass L. K Advani, Rajnath Singh and Narendra Modi are expected to attend the rally. (ANI)
