London, September 23 : Singer Neil Diamond has revealed that he turns to a fencing medal he won as a teenager for luck.

The 68-year-old star said the swordfighting prize he won as a high school student works as his lucky charm.

"This really tiny fencing medal has been a good omen for me,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

“I do believe in luck, and I somehow think this medal brings me good fortune.

"(Winning it) was a defining moment for me. It really did change me because it raised my self-esteem," he added. (ANI)
