Kathmandu, Apr 18 : The Election Commission (EC) of Nepal on Friday said that the final results of the proportional electoral (PR) system could be declared in about ten days.

EC spokesperson Laxman Bhattarai told Nepalnews the counting of PR votes is likely to complete within a week and that it will take additional four days to allocate the seats to the parties.

Meanwhile, the re-polling was held at the polling center of Jukena Village Development Committee in Arghakhanchi district constituency no-2.

Earlier, the EC had cancelled polling in this constituency on April 10 following complaints. (ANI)
