Nissan ties up with six new UK dealers for offering LeafAutomaker, Nissan has chosen six new dealerships in the UK, who will now offer the company’s all-electric Leaf model besides existing dealers.

The company has said that it is expanding the dealership network to improve the regional coverage of the Leaf's availability. The new six dealers will take the number of dealers offering Leaf in the UK to 32. The new dealers will be the ones to feature the new, smaller quick-charge DC equipment allowing faster charging in a decreased equipment size.

Even as Nissan had said that the new charging equipment will not be available until nect year the company has now confirmed that a twin-head Podpoint charging post and 16A charging unit has been sent to the dealers.

Holdcroft Nissan in Stoke, Macklin Motors in Glasgow, Trenton in Hull, WLMG in Reading and Mill Hill, and Wessex Garages in Bristol are the dealers added to the current network of dealers for the model.
