Nissan launches entry-level hatchback Datsun GO

hatchback-Datsun-GONew Delhi, March 19 : Japan's Nissan Motor Company Wednesday launched its entry-level hatchback, Datsun GO, priced between Rs. 3.12 lakh and Rs. 3.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The launch marks the revival of the Datsun brand after 32 years. The entry-level hatchback which has been engineered and developed in India was first showcased last year.

The entry-level vehicle is powered by a 1.2 litre three-cylinder petrol engine and a fuel economy of about 20.63 km a litre. The engine is coupled with a five-speed manual transmission.

The former president filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday through defence lawyers Khalid Ranjha and Faisal Hussain, Dawn online reported Wednesday.

A three-member special court, headed by Justice Faisal Arab of the Sindh High Court, had Feb 21 rejected Musharraf's plea to transfer his case of imposing emergency in the country Nov 3, 2007, to the military court.
