Myth that married women don't get film roles: Madhuri

Madhuri-DixitMumbai, Dec 19 : It's true that Madhuri Dixit took a break from acting following her marriage in 1999, but the dancing diva is back and how! She says it's a myth that married women don't get roles in the film industry.

"I think married women always got roles. Sharmilaji (Sharmila Tagore) worked after marriage, Meena Kumari also worked and Rakhi worked after marriage. These are just myths and not true all the time," Madhuri said here in an interaction.

Microsoft auto industry innovation centre launched in China

MicrosoftBeijing, Dec 19 : Microsoft Thursday launched its first automobile industry innovation centre in Changchun, the capital of China's Jilin province.

The centre will focus on the research and development of auto information system technologies, cloud-based mobile internet solutions, and big data management and applications, said Ralph Haupter, Microsoft's chairman and chief executive officer for the Greater China region.

The Changchun Microsoft Innovation Centre will also promote the upgrade of the auto industry in the area, a major auto manufacturing base in China, Haupter said at the launch ceremony, Xinhua reported.

Devyani Khobragade arrest: US must apologise, accept fault, says Kamal Nath

Kamal NathNew Delhi, Dec 19  : Union Minister Kamal Nath on Thursday said the United States must apologise for arresting diplomat Devyani Khobragade.

"America must apologise and accept their fault. Only then, will we be satisfied," Nath told reporters here.

On Wednesday, US Secretary of State John Kerry spoke to National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon and expressed 'regret' over the incident.

In telephone call to Menon, Kerry expressed also hope that this isolated episode would not harm the close and mutually respectful ties between the two countries.
