London, Mar 4 : British Foreign Secretary William Hague has said that his country cannot rule out providing arms to the Syrian opposition in the future.

Hague stressed that the situation in Syria now is "too dangerous to the peace and security of that entire region, and thereby to the world, to ignore it."

Suring an interview with the BBC, Hague said the package would be given "directly to the opposition" and would include "more equipment to help save lives".

Latehar, Mar 4 : The Jharkhand Police has arrested a hardcore Maoist from the Kendwahi village of Latehar district of the state.

A team of policemen conducted raid on Sunday (March 03) in the Kendwahi village after they came to know that the Maoists were camping in the village and were plotting to create trouble in the area.

When the police team arrived, the militants tried to flee but one of them, Prem Oraon, was caught while the two others managed to escape.
