Naxals strike again

Naxals are getting more and more dangerous day by day and they are now just following the path of killing innocent people and mass destruction in India. The naxals have destroyed a whole bus in Dantewada in central India and killed around 30 people who were traveling in the bus.
Officials have said that maximum people in the bus were Special Police Officers (SPO). They detonated mine under the bus at Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. Dantewada has become the most critical area for such Maoists activities. They had also attacked the Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) camp last month and had killed around 76 soldiers.
Dr Khan wants a deal or ready to die fighting for his rights
Submitted by Sahil Nagpal on Mon, 07/07/2008 - 15:27.Islamabad, July 7 : Pakistan nuclear scientist Dr AQ Khan has reportedly urged the federal government to let him lead a normal and peaceful life, or he was ready to die fighting for his rights, and that the present day government would be responsible for his death.
He reportedly conveyed this to PML-Q leader Shujaat Hussain whom he met recently. At the meeting, Dr Khan gave the assurance that if the government allowed him to live a normal life, then he will not make any statements to the media and would not even indulge in politics, reported The News.

London, Sept. 30 : Taliban leader Mullah Omar has urged the United States and NATO forces in Afghanistan to withdraw or face a similar defeat to occupying Soviet troops a generation ago.
In a rare message, posted on militant websites and monitored by the US-based SITE intelligence group, Omar offered a bargain to the US-led forces that drove the Taliban from power in 2001 but are now fighting a fierce insurgency by the Islamist militia.
"Reconsider your wrong decision of wrong occupation, and seek a safe exit to withdraw your forces," said the message, which the Taliban said came from Omar.

Hong Kong - A 15-year-old rape victim in Hong Kong has been cleared of murdering the baby she conceived during the attack on her, a news report said Saturday.
The teenager was charged with murder after allegedly abandoning the baby to die on the ledge of a block of flats two years ago, the South China Morning Post reported.
However, at a High Court hearing Friday, charges of murder and improperly disposing of a child's body were both dropped after experts said it was uncertain whether the baby had been born alive.

Madrid- Prosecutors at Spain's National Court on Friday sought international arrest warrants for three alleged former guards of Nazi concentration camps.
The trio, now in their 80s, are under investigation after Spanish survivors filed a complaint against them.
The prosecutors are seeking lengthy jail sentences for Johann Leprich, Anton Tittjung and Josias Kumpf.
The three committed genocide and crimes against humanity between 1942 and 1945, the prosecutors said.

London, Apr 24 : A Brit woman, who got an ASBO for having noisy sex, is now facing jail time for breaching the order within days of getting it.
Caroline Cartwright, 47, had received the court order on April 17 after her sex sessions woke up her partially deaf neighbour, and now she could get up to five years for ignoring it.
People living close to Caroline and her hubby Steve, 46, had complained that the "groans, screams and slapping" were so loud, it sounded like domestic violence.
US welcomes Pak move to restore deposed CJ

Washington, Mar. 16 : The Obama administration here has welcomed the Pakistan Government's decision to reinstate deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
Washington gave its reaction after authorities in Islamabad informed it about its decision.
According to sources, Chaudhry will assume his responsibilities on March 22.

G. Patrick Clagett, chief of vascular surgery at University of Texas-Southwestern (UT-S), has pioneered a new technique, called the neo-aortoiliac system (NAIS). The technique proves that replacing the infected veins with the body’s own veins is better for grafting than the synthetic ones.
Clagett stated that the operation has gained worldwide favor, according to an UT-S release.
