Reprising her role as the beloved Bridget Jones, Renee has already started packing pounds for her round three as the sassy British loud mouth Bridget.

The series, written by Helen Fielding will talk about Bridget now in her 40s, and trying to have a baby before its too late. Though the film is slated to go on floors until late
2010, Renee is confirmed to be on board.

London, June 6 : Renee Zellweger-starrer Bridget Jones''s Diary is to be turned into a musical.

The 2001 film grossed 282 million dollars worldwide, and its sequel, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, raked in 262 million dollars.

Now, the writer of the original novels, Helen Fielding, is planning to cash in on the romantic comedy franchise with a stage production, reports The Daily Express.

She tells U. K. newspaper The Times, "I''ve been doing it (writing) for two years, and writing the songs."
