October 5, 2010 : This last weekend, the flick The Social Network earned a very admirable $23 million at the box office. This David Fincher directed film has been produced by a team of well known Hollywood faces like Kevin Spacey, Scott Rudin, Michael De Luca, Cean Chaffin and Dana Brunetti. The movie's cast includes Justin Timberlake, Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Rooney Mara and Brenda Song, to name a few.

The movie primarily focuses on the life of Mark Zuckerberg, the now billionaire founder of the madly popular social networking site, Facebook.

Film director David Fincher has been busy talking with MRC Studios so as to produce a series of fresh new films.

Further details haven't been revealed and nothing's been signed yet, however ,it seems that this deal would at least get the director two films. Fincher is presently awaiting Social Network's release in the month of October.

The movie is about social networking and based on the rise of popular networking site, Facebook, and should be interesting. Let's just hope that this particular movie deal provides him with a lot of success in the near future.

London, June 25 : `The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' director David Fincher is in talks to helm Facebook: The Movie, according to reports.

The Columbia Pictures film will focus on Mark Zuckerberg, who launched the social networking site in 2004 after creating it as a tool for Harvard university students.

Zuckerberg, 25, is "the youngest billionaire on earth and possibly the youngest self-made billionaire ever," according to Forbes magazine.
