New York, Nov 20 - Hollywood veteran Dustin Hoffman may not feature in "Little Fockers", the third instalment of the "Meet the Parents" franchise.

Washington, January 3: Veteran actor Dustin Hoffman has vowed to touch the 100-age bracket so that he can fulfil his promise to celebrate his youngest son's 50th birthday.

The 71-year-old revealed that he had an understanding with all his kids that he would be there to eat the cake on their half-century birthdays.

"I have a pact with my kids. My youngest is 21 and I said, ''I want to be there for your 50th birthday,'' which means I have to be 100," Contactmusic quoted the Oscar-winner as saying.

London, December 10 : Dustin Hoffman has revealed that he owes his youthful looks to his strict daily routine that included waking up at 4 am to hit the sauna room later.

The 71-year-old Oscar-winner said that he loved to “loosen up” his bones with frequent sauna sessions - even on every film set.

“I live the same life every day. All the time. I go to bed nine o’clock. Always wake up four in the morning, so I don’t need an alarm clock. Make my own coffee, hang with the dogs, then I work out for an hour,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

London, Nov 22 : American actor Dustin Hoffman has revealed that he almost lost his life in 1970, when an anti-war group accidentally detonated dynamite in their secret factory next door to his home.

Hoffman had been living in an apartment just one door down from the radical organisation Weather Underground''s makeshift bomb factory in New York City''s Greenwich Village in March of 1970.

The reason he escaped death was because he had stepped out of his house for a few hours when the group inadvertently set off explosives, but one year later he discovered that his then-girlfriend was a member of the violent activist group.
