Aamer ruled out of Sydney Test

Sydney, Jan 2 : Pakistan's hopes of securing a series-levelling win in the second cricket Test against Australia received a major setback Saturday when teenage pacer Mohammad Aamer was ruled out of the match because of a stiff hamstring.
A team official said it had been decided by Pakistan coaches that Aamer will not be picked for the second Test starting Sunday in a bid to save him from a possible injury.
According to the officials, Aamer had serious stiffness around his hamstring muscles after the first Test against Australia in Melbourne that ended Dec 30.

Lahore, Sep. 28 : Pakistani pacer Mohammad Aamer is learning the nuances of international cricket fast. The way he claimed Sachin Tendulkar’s wicket at the Centurion proves just that, a Pakistani cricket expert has said.
“He has learnt that if you want to hurt the opposition, then you must target their main man. So far he has been able to deliver every time,” The Nation quoted Mudassar Nazar, the former director at PCB''s Lahore-based National Cricket Academy, as saying.
Akram advices Aamer to gain some weight

Akram said that he along with Mudassar Nazar and Aaqib Javed has spotted Aamer two years ago at a training camp and after playing in under-19 cricket. Now, Aamer has been given the opportunity to open the bowling attack for Pakistan team.
Akram further added that Aamer should gain some extra weight so as to bowl consistently at a speed of 90 miles per hour and he has the proud of spotting the youth talent.
