Trinamool leader meets WB Governor to resolve Singur deadlock

West BengalKolkata, Sep 1 : Trinamool Congress leader Partha Chatterjee today met West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi for the second day following his initiative to resolve deadlock over Singur issue.

Chatterjee, who is the Leader of the Opposition in the assembly, had an hour closed meeting with Gandhi today.

It could not be ascertained if Chatterjee delivered any communication from Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee to the Governor who wrote to her last Saturday, urging her to take part in the negotiations.
