London, November 20 : Late actor Patrick Swayze''s younger brother Donny has thrashed the media for making false reports on the actor’s health before his death.

The ‘Dirt Dancing’ star’s sibling insists that headlines hinting he was close to death discouraged the actor battling pancreatic cancer.

"Grocery shopping at the 7-Eleven corner store for two years (was hard) because going into the grocery store was just too much,” the Daily Express quoted him as telling U. S. talk show host Larry King.

Washington, October 28 : Actress Lisa Niemi has spoken of her grief for the first time since the death of her husband Patrick Swayze six weeks ago at a women’s empowerment conference.

The Ghost actor died aged 57 from pancreatic cancer on September 14, leaving behind his wife of 34 years.

Swayze recalled how he first got the devastating news 20 months ago in the book, due to hit the shelves on September 29.

"I had been having some digestive trouble, mostly acid reflux and a kind of bloated feeling, for a few weeks," People magazine quoted him as saying.

"I''ve had a sensitive stomach my whole life, so I hadn''t thought much of it, but lately I just couldn''t shake the constant discomfort."

According to RadarOnline. com, the ashes of the Dirty Dancing star will be spread across his much loved Rancho de Dias Alegres (Ranch of Happy Days) in New Mexico, reports the Daily Star.
