Surviving Bee Gees to reunite for live shows

London, September 8 : Bee Gees member Robin Gibb has revealed that he and brother Barry are ready to get back together as a band, six years on from the death of bandmate Maurice.
"The two of us are getting back together again as we speak," Robin said on BBC Radio''s Test Match Special cricket programme.
He added that he and brother Barry have "got through the breakwater of emotions" following their sibling''s demise in 2003 and are planning a series of live dates.

London - Robin Gibb of British pop group The Bee Gees Friday described Michael Jackson as a "wonderful sensitive human being" and suggested the US singer would still be alive if he had been allowed to keep his private life private.
"This tragedy should teach us a lesson to value and praise those gifts while we still have them in the world," said Gibb.
"If even a small portion of the praise that is bestowed on Michael Jackson now in death was given to him last year, in life, he might well still be with us."

Washington, June 12 : Robin Gibbs of the Bee Gees has condemned copyright infringement.
Gibbs, who heads the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers, said at the World Copyright Summit in Washington, D. C. that copyright is not a barrier to creativity.
He insisted that copyright is in fact an incentive to creativity
“The system of copyright, which has protected creators for 300 years, is facing challenges. And we are ready for that," the Politico quoted Gibbs as saying.

London, Feb 9 : Former Bee Gees star Robin Gibb's wife Dwina Murphy is feeling betrayed after finding out that her husband fathered a lovechild with their housekeeper.
Although, bisexual Dwina turned a blind eye to Gibb's 8-year fling with the housekeeper Claire Yang, she felt deceived, when she found out that Yang had given birth to Gibb's child 3 months ago.
"She felt betrayed," the Sun quoted a pal, as saying.

London, Nov 25 : Bee Gee star Robin Gibb missed a flight to America after refusing to allow airport security staff to search his bag.
The singer was randomly selected for an extra hand luggage search as he waited in London''s Gatwick Airport''s departure lounge for a flight to Las Vegas.
Despite being told by staff he would be unable to board the plane without being searched, Robin refused to hand over his bag.
The 58-year-old singer, who was travelling alone, eventually agreed to be escorted back through security check points - but missed his 4,000 pounds flight.
